2000 marks the 10th anniversary of the phenomenon which has come to be known as Faux Thanksgiving, a gathering of Chicago area GT/VS/MTU alums and various friends to kick off the holiday season. In the time-honored tradition of General Technics parties, Faux Thanksgiving typically offers the requisite Stupid Amounts of Food and many hours of non-stop stimulating conversation.

This year's Faux Thanksgiving is scheduled for Saturday, November 18, beginning at 6:00 p.m..
Your host for Faux Thanksgiving 2000 is (as usual) Dale Sulak; however, once again, Faux Thanksgiving will be taking place at Dwayne & Maria Forsyth's house, 502 Rue Orleanais, Deer Park, IL.

Dale will be providing a deep fried turkey, a roasted turkey and pumpkin pie; it's a pretty sure bet that side dishes, appetizers, and drinkables will be appreciated.
